About Graham Isom.

Graham Isom is an award-winning equine artist. He was born in 1945 in Farnborough, Kent. Isom spent much of his youth at his father’s riding school, it was here where he developed a love for horses. After studying at the Ravensbourne College of Art Isom began to specialise in sculpture, it wasn’t until after his graduation that he began to explore his passion for racing via painting. From 1990- 1993 Isom received awards from the American Academy of Equine Artists, he was awarded most notably in 1993 a trio of awards including ‘Best Picture’, ‘Best Sporting Picture’ and ‘Most Popular Picture’.

Isom exhibits regularly throughout the USA and the UK, his acceptance into several artist societies, including the ‘Society of Equine Artists’ and the ‘American Academy of Equine Art’, has resulted in an international interest in his work.
