About Rosemary Sarah Welch
Rosemary Sarah Welch is a British Postwar & Contemporary painter, born in 1946. She was fortunate to be taught by Leonard Fuller ROI RCA at the famed School of Painting and Drawing in St Ives. She has, since her graduation, worked as a professional artist. Welch works presently from her studio in the New Forest, her passion is the heavy horse, often inspired by her own “miniature draft horse” Frank. She captures the movement of a racing horse with exceptional accuracy. She is a regular exhibitor with the SEA.
