Artist Biography
About Phillip Hobbs
Yorkshire born artist, Phil Hobbs has lived and worked in the English Lake District for over 50 years. Working predominately in pure watercolour he has participated in many national exhibitions and had a number of solo shows in the UK, USA and Europe. He has contributed articles to many of the national and international art magazines and tutored workshops in this country and abroad. His time more recently is divided between painting in the UK and Italy. He is a past President and an Honorary Life Member of the Lake Artists Society.
