About David Smith
David Smith was born in the UK in 1949. As a young child his grandfather, a printmaker and amateur artist, taught him to paint. The main source of Smith’s inspiration comes from his childhood, each summer he would take trips to the countryside. Smith is known for his ability to capture scenes of mountains, tree-laden valleys & fast flowing rivers with exceptional mastery of light and colour.
