Artist Biography
About Andrew Douglas-Forbes
Andrew Douglas-Forbes was born in the Gower Peninsula, Southwest Wales. He started painting at a very young age and was taught by the Canadian artist, Gordon Stuart. He studied at Swansea Art College as well as the R.A.M London as a prestigious scholar.
He lived in Tuscany, Italy for a while, singing opera professionally but eventually moved back to Wales to focus on his painting.
Douglas-Forbes has exhibited worldwide and represented in galleries across the UK.
He now lives and works from the hilltop town of Llandeilo in Carmarthenshire, Wales. His own house has appeared in many interiors magazines and is also part of his studio exhibition.
