Artist Biography
About Zoltan Preiner
Zoltan Preiner was born in 1955 in Budapest, Hungary and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest. Most well known for his simple yet elegant still life paintings that began during his early days of study. During his studies there he had been very much impressed by the baroque painters and the whole life style in that early period.
As he always surprised his teachers with his precise drawings they urged him to do paintings where he could use his extraordinary talent.
He has held exhibitions in Budapest, Vienna, Graz, Lyon and Munich.
A key element to the success of the artist’s work is the adherence to compositional guidelines and tonal balances which he is constantly seeking to master.
