About Donald McIntyre
Donald McIntyre (1923-2009) was a British painter best known for his landscapes of Scotland and Wales. He studied as a dentist at the Glasgow Dental Hospital while taking night classes in art at the Glasgow School of Art. At 40, McIntyre decide to pursue painting as a full time career. His work is highly sought after and is characterised by his bold brush strokes and vivid colour schemes.
