Glyn Williams was born in 1955 in Tunbridge Wells.
Williams became a professional oil painter in 1980. He lives by The East Coast where he often paints commissioned work from art dealers and publishers.

In the following decade paintings by Glyn have joined collections in Europe, Japan, South America, The United States and the United Kingdom.
