About Edward Hersey
Edward Hersey, born 1948 in Surrey, is well known for his realistic, yet idealistic depictions of the British countryside. Hersey spent his early years living in southern England, where the agricultural landscapes and farmland architecture have continued to inspired and influence his work to this day. Hersey’s work is often characterised by his precise attention to detail and use of emotive lighting in his landscapes, these features have ensured his popularity among collectors of traditional fine art.
