About Ralston Gudgeon
Ralston was a Scottish born artist, best known for painting birds and animals mostly in gouache watercolour.
He studied at the Glasgow School in 1933 and won the Torrance Memorial award of the Glasgow Institute.
Ralston Gudgeon was one of Scotland’s leading artists in 1936 and was elected to the RSW the youngest man ever.
