About Josie Lee
Josie Lee, born in Manchester to Italian parents, has a rich Mediterranean heritage that influences her art. Her compositions are vibrant and often fantastical, with a consistent humorous trend and underlying script.
Josie’s work is mainly in acrylics, enhanced with layers of textures, resins, and mixed media. She has never studied art but has developed her own unique style through experimentation with paint.
Her street scenes are heavily influenced by her childhood, featuring characters from times gone by with a mix of Anglo/Mediterranean influence.
Josie’s art is a source of joy, and she hopes that the discovery of her work will bring a smile to others.
