Artist Biography
About William Bromley
London based artist William Bromley III was born in 1835. Artistic talent was common amongst his family, his grandfather (of the same name) was a famed engraver. Bromley’s medium of choice however was most commonly oil paint, he found success depicting scenes of children playing with one another. Bromley was a prolific exhibitor, showing over 187 works of art at Suffolk Street. Other exhibitions of his work took place at the Royal Academy and the British Institution.
